Hello everyone,
I need a new 88-note controller for my studio and need a keyboard that is thin enough to sit on a slide out shelf I am building under my custom desk. If the module on the M3 is removed and mounted separately, the M3 would be a great choice for me. Is the cable long enough to mount the module away from the keyboard unit? If it is not very long, does someone know if I can purchase a longer cable (I'm guessing 4 to 5 feet in length is what I need)?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Thank you! Was your "3rd part" just an electronics shop that made you a custom cable? I'm wondering if an electronics shop where i live (Boise, Idaho) can extend it for me?Sina172 wrote:If you're in the USA, Parts Is Parts is your best choice.quantum7 wrote:Hello everyone,

That's the direct link for the cable you want, although I don't know if they have a longer version of it. They don't have the right angle version anymore as its discontinued now.
Regardless, you'll have to go to a third party to get the cable custom made for the length you want if there's a specific length you need.
I have the RADIAS Keyboard and rack here and I had to get longer cables myself so I went to a third party and not only did they make me a right angle version, but I got some spares that I keep in case one gets broken, or stops working. It's the same cable as the M3, but without the right angle connector on the end.
There are tons of places you can go online and check out. Los Angeles, CA is FULL of these places.
