Editor hiccup when opening project in Logic

Post by BetaMark »

All,

I'm finding that when I open a project in Logic that includes the plugin editor, I get an 'AutoSense Instrument Settings' dialog. It's apparently trying to find the Kronos. It tries for for about 20 seconds, then an error pops up: 'Compatible Kronos with OSv1.6 not found...'. I can click OK in this dialog and my project still opens with the proper settings saved and the editor and Kronos talk to each other with no problem at that point, so it's not a complete disaster. But it would be nice not to have to go through this each time. Note that I don't have the issue when launching the editor as standalone; the issue seems specific to launching Logic.

Any thoughts?

I've had this happen a few times. I'm on Lion are you on X 6.x or Lion?

You can. In Preferences in the Studio tab uncheck "AutoSense on Program Execution".

Tried this, but the issue still remains. I'm running OS X 10.6.8 BTW.

I tried it here and it behaves as expected. No attempt to AutoSense if turned off. The program maintains separate Preferences for the stand-alone and plug-in versions so did you turn it off in the same environment that you are testing with?

If you go back and look at the setting in Preferences, is it turned off?

Ok, then I will forward this to see if we can replicate and correct this.
