PA50 Music Stand cutting off sound to right speaker!

I put a heavy music book on the music stand of my PA50SD, and the sound to the right speaker, and right channel of my headphones was cut off. This has happened again recently with a bundle of music sheets.

I'm thinking of buying a seperate music stand to use instead of the Korg metal one. Has anyone else come across this problem?
