You could check your MIDI settings in Global mode. I suggest you to look at this article:

Re: HELP. transpose
Which keyboard you use for playing? Pa2x or M3? I assume you use Pa2x (you say you play styles) - then you have to connect Pa2x Midi OUT to M3 Midi IN.rina wrote:I have a Korg Pa2xpro so when I play a style and change the transpose, so does not change the transpose of Korg m3. I use almost always Pa2xPro as master keyboard and M3 as module only and control M3 by MIDI from Pa2xPro.
On Pa2x I set up Midi this way (Global:MIDI Midi Out Channel) Ch1 - Upper1
On M3 I set Global P1:MIDI Midi channel:01

Now, I have tested as you described, still nothing happens.
I'll describe a little better maybe.
When I play a style from Korg pa2xpro and want to change transpose eg +1 or +3 or +5 I want it to change transpose the sound in Korg M3 as well.
but now this is it that when I play on the Korg pa2xpro eg +3 transpose. so will not play sound on Korg M3, but it is on transpose 0

Re: HELP. transpose
Let's explain little more:rina wrote: When I play a style from Korg pa2xpro and want to change transpose eg +1 or +3 or +5 I want it to change transpose the sound in Korg M3 as well.

When you transpose Pa2xPro then it actually does not send any "transpose" signal to M3 and does NOT cause M3 to "transpose"
BUT Pa2x sends transposed MIDI notes. When your Pa2x has transposed +2 and you play C note on Pa2x, it sends D note to its MIDI out and if your M3 Midi In is connected to Pa2 then it plays note D and sounds "transposed". But you cannot see from Global settings of M3 any transposing and you should not,

Re: HELP. transpose
thank you spend your time on me.
but I do not want the sound to come from Korg Pa2xpro to Korg M3.
I want the sound that I have on the M3, a SET that I have loaded.
it sounds weird, when I play rhythms from Korg pa2x pro from transpose +4
so the sound that I play on the M3 with my own sounds (SET) to play it on another transpose. it sounds weird when I play.

yeah, it is little bit hard to understand for me what you do or what you want...
I can tell, that knowing what you want one can play Korg Pa2x and M3 together in one tune (same transpose). Sound comes out from Pa2 and M3 and are mixed together in external mixer and it sounds good
If you can, please explain what you want to achieve - as specific as you can - , perhaps I (or somebody else ) can tell how to do it.

ok we put it this way. you play on your Korg pa2xpro to transpose 0, and you select a rhythm and start playing with a sound such as the saxophone, then switching to transpose to your Korg Pa2xpro eg +3, then you notice that even the sound of the saxophone changed (you notice the tone change automatic) I want it to be changed even on M3
OK, I am very slow, so ask more questions
Not clear, whether or how M3 is involved and connected here. Be specific.
You say that "I want it to be changed even on M3" - what is that "It" you want to be changed on M3 - not very clear. Also how exactly Pa2x and M3 are connected.

Clear so far, I think this: You choose style and sound (say sax) both on Pa2x, and play keys on Pa2x. Sound comes from Pa2x.rina wrote:ok we put it this way. you play on your Korg pa2xpro to transpose 0, and you select a rhythm and start playing with a sound such as the saxophone,

Clear here that if you transpose Pa2x +3 then style (backing arrangement that comes from Pa2x) transposes up, also sax (if that comes from Pa2) timbre is transposed.rina wrote:then switching to transpose to your Korg Pa2xpro eg +3, then you notice that even the sound of the saxophone changed (you notice the tone change automatic) I want it to be changed even on M3

Repeat myself: "Also how exactly Pa2x and M3 are connected."
Then: Do you want to get sax sound from M3 playing M3 keys or Pa2x keys?
And: Sax from M3 - do you use program or Combi? If combi, then which one?

Ok, it is not going to work this way.
As I said earlier, Pa2x cannot send any "transpose information" to M3, also you have connected Midi cable opposite way as if you wanted to control Pa2 from M3...
What you can do, is to play Pa2 keyboard and use M3 as sound module (not play M3 keys).
You need to connect Pa2 midi out to M3 Midi in.
Now when you play Pa2, it sends MIDI notes to M3 and M3 will play same notes (but you can choose what timbre you want - sax or something). When you transpose Pa2 then Midi notes will sent to M3 will be transposed too and M3 sounds in same transpose as Pa2.
You may need to set up your Pa2 so that it transmits midi only on channel 1 and only for "upper 1" - this can be done in Global:MIDI Midi out channel tab - choose "Ch01"->Upper 1 and all other channels to "off" - so that other Pa2 parts (style etc) does not go to M3.
In M3 ensure that "Midi channel" on page Global P1 : MIDI (tab Midi basic) is set to "01"
This way your midi channels will match and M3 plays the same what you play on Pa2 right hand.
