If so it will be the death to Korg as we know it.. OR Korg will just have to step up and start giving us 1TB SSD Loaded to the brim with Samples that stream.. 16gb of Ram and 64bit OS with a OLED touch screen.. HAHA
Because of people's familiarity with personal computers, they assume creating a workstation should be easy, super cheap, and have state of the art PC components.

There is a reason software companies haven't tried to create and sell keyboard workstation products -- it's too tough.

Microsoft? Nope. Apple? Nope. Native Instruments? Nope.

I have to disagree.. Your trying real hard here but I think your wrong.. Korg uses alot of standard pc parts that you can find in many Dell PCs. The motherboard was used in a mass production Dell system. CPU standard part not made or engineered for Korg.. Ram standard.. All PC OUTDATED technology. I know In the last few years I have thrown in the TRASH.. PC parts very like the ones in the Kronos.. Just tossed the outdated junk.. I should have kept that junk for spare parts if my Kronos would break down.. LOL

Software companies dont need to make a stand alone workstations because they expect us to use the software with a PC and USB Midi Controller + ASIO card. Trust me this is just a few years into the beginning of this.. In time Korgs going to need to step to the plate or close up.. Profits are down because people can get decent sound for less than 300.00 with their current PC or Mac..

I plan to continue to use Native Intruments Komplete 8 along with my Kronos.. Over 10x the sample data so why not.. :P

Wrong. Technology isn't "outdated" if it works. The number of PC parts on a Kronos is small compared to the total number of parts. Also, you wouldn't want to pay thousands more for a Kronos with cutting edge PC hardware.

No, software companies don't want to get into the keyboard workstation business because of the small market, complexity, and low profits.

It is much simpler to simple create software for standardized hardware others create.

My point is about how difficult and expensive it is to create keyboard workstations, and people who assume manufacturers could easily add cutting edge computer hardware to their products inexpensively don't really know what they are talking about.

sounds like you dont know what your talking about.. and I dont care about your point.. This is my thread and my statement was clearly that Native Instruments raw sample sound is better then the Kronos raw sample sound..

so you are here making argument for no reason.. I dont care what you think.. its pointless. senseless.. wow.. get a life
