does anyone think that the triton classic can take DS/ED Extra High Density 2.88MB Floppy Disk ??? thaxx,,

Just a guess but I don't think that there's any advantage to the larger format disc -- I believe what you end up doing in order to use it is re-formatting it to a lower standard; ~1.3 meg (#?).
A better solution (from my view at least) is getting a librarian program that lets you load up .pcg files via midi.

Running of the FFD cable, not likely as the OS would have to address the size.
You can however run pretty much anything off the SCSI port, if you add one.
