Quickie....
Is the TRITON PRO X Piano sample sound any better than in the 61 key Classic a la 01/w Pro 88 /Trinity Pro X etc...?
Cheers

The Triton Classic 61,76 and 88 are identical in every way expect for their size and number of keys.
To get a different Piano you would have to move to the Triton Extreme, or just buy a sample library.
Only catch is you will have to have the SCSI option installed in your Triton Classic and maybe even upgrade the RAM depending on what you are going to load.
Floppy disk loading on the Triton is painfully slow when it comes to samples.
I have an online store HERE that offers a few Pianos for the Triton.
There's also many in the download section here at KORG Forums for free.

Thanks for that Sharp. I'll have a look when I get back home @ your site. Picked myself up a *well used* Pro X that needs a little TLC to go with my various other synths. I just found the Triton piano (much like the Trinity) to be a little uninspiring sonically. The old O1/Wpro piano used to shine beautifully but I'm left with the fd only now so wanted a better piano.
Play's great however, I'm not piano trained so have always felt weighted hammer action a struggle (oddly) but this feel superb. Bargain to boot & cleaning up nicely.
