Hi,
I'm back; I just bit the bullet (much against my better judgement) and sprung for the microarranger. (As you may remember, I had a PA-80 at one time, and did some work in the downloads section).
In any case, I'm searching for 3/4 meter styles I can convert to Flamenco (6/8 meter as well).
Note that these are NOT "triplets"; for example a 3/4 measure can consist of 1/8 notes, grouped in 3 groups of doublets; a 6/8 measure also consists of 1/8 notes, but now in two groups of 3; at the same tempo, each measure has exactly the same length.....
I would appreciate being pointed towards these, wherever they may exist....
Thanks,
Chuck

Check out SEVILLANA 1 & 2 on page 1 of WORLD 3 - There's also a 3/4 BOLERO and MINUETTO on that page.Buleriachk wrote:Hi,

Thanks; I was aware of those from my PA80 days. The "Sevillanas" styles are not in any traditional Sevillanas form that I know of; I remember the Minuetto being the closest. I was hoping there might be a third party somewhere...
Is it possible to somehow make a drumkit using one's own sounds (sample on the pc, import, etc....

From the 'features' section for the PA80 ...
"Sampling: Record & Edit funcions (fully functional only with an optional flash rom card installed) - Time Slice - Extend Slice - Wave Import of KSF (Korg Sample File), WAV and AIFF formats - Import of Triton Programs (PCG) - Import & Export of KMP (Korg Multisample)"

Ok, but I've got a MicroArranger, not a PA80, which doesn't do samples, so I'm SOL. Oh well, I can always sync Ableton Live if I have to...
