YES....on mine(61 Keys) i put inside(replace miniPico 4Gb),256GB USB 3.0(Super Talent SuperCrypt 256GB USB 3.0 from ebay),and works well,better then HDD!
I tested with 128,64,32GB 3.0(Patriot) as well..same,works good on all 3 USB Port's!
But...expensive!!!!
Cheaper 500GB HDD :P

Hi Dear,

Thanks for your update.

Can you tell me the process of transfeering system data from internal 4gb USB SSD to your new 256gb USB 3.0 Thumb Drive?

Thanks in advance.

Nothing special!... After the change, follow what it says on the display..
1. install OS with intro 1
2.install Resurce with intro 1
Good luck

Hi Dear

Do we have to copy OS & MR on new internal Pen Drive which we install or do we have to load OS & MR from USB ports on keyboard?

Thanks in advance.

dear pauser ! korg pa3x DOES NOT SUPPORT USB 3 DEVICES ! i wish it could and it is a shame For such an advanced equipment . anyway, when you are using your usb 3 device, it actually uses the same speed as usb 2 and it is not faster than a usb 2 storage device , as i said korg DO NOT HAVE A USB 3 PORT ! its like paying a lot of money and buying a ferrari but its speed is limited to 80 km/hrs ! sure it will drive you anywhere but you can do the same thing with any other cheap car!! so im sorry my friend but if you paid the extra money so you can ONLY use the usb device for your keyboard you have made a big mistake ! you could have bought a much cheaper usb 2 version and the speed would have been the same .
MUSCI AND THATS ALL...........!!!!

By default USB 3 slot has an extra upper pin and it's obviously a different slot
that Pa3X doesn't support since is equipped with industrial USB 1,2.
BUT ... Supersonic Magnum 64 GB Flash Drive isn't really a waste of money since it is
compatible with USB 2 port too , and exploiting USB 3 technology structure that
contains you actually gain the max limit USB 2 port speed !
Therefore testing it on Pa3X ,you can access up to 32 Mb/sec reading speed , 4 times faster
of the best USB 2 stick you could use , approaching internal HD speed.

Also all of you never compare today's computing tech with keyboards that are always
a decade behind in speed , CPU & peripheral features (little exception OpenLabs).

I installed SSD 80GB a week ago and I'm very happy :) , too ... STARTUP - 1min 03 sec ... 256MB ram (153mb filled)....
I can say that -HD is better choise than USB Stick ...
When I load some multisample it lasts seconds :) ..... and when I delete some multisample it lasts :) seconds !!!! :)
and I think PA3X now works faster ....

So? Conclusion? Pa3x works much faster with SSD? Especially boot time? Does this means that a SSD is must have if we have more amount of samples?

I have installed Kingston SSD 120 GB in my PA3x 76 to check Daniel's and Lika's claim of 1 minute start-up WITH samples... I DID NOT FIND ANY DIFERENCES between factory 160gb hard drive and SSD... In both cases my start UP time is 3 minutes and 20 seconds (I have exb 256 and my set is 145mb heavy -compressed ) ...I had worst start-up (7.45),but I deleted many loops to increase my start-up time until new OS come out.

So, I have NO idea HOW do you get 1.05-1.10 min start up with samples???? My Pa3x have that boot time WITHOUT samples.
