PadKontrol david finger haynes

hello,

I would like to use a yamaha dtxrpess with my padkontrol to control an hihat and ad a kick trigger to control... a kick thru superior drummer ! How can i do that ? Is it really possible ? I've seen david "finger" haynes controlling the hihat in superior drummer with a dtxpress trigger pedal. Do i need a trigger module with the pad kontrol to do what i want ? Is it easy to configure ? I like the padkontrol and the idea of using it like a v-drum with my fingers and both an hihat and kick triggers exciting me...
