Radias Arpeggiator Question
Hello everyone, I recently bought a Korg Radias and am having immense trouble figuring out how to use the arpeggiator. I've followed the instructions to the letter in both the included manual and on the easy start guide, and whenever I press the button to turn it on, it won't even produce sound when I play. I know I've got to be doing something wrong, but being that I am VERY new to synthesizer programming, I'm not sure what. In any case, I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me in several very detailed steps what to do to make the arpeggiator... well, arpeggiate. I probably sound like a moron, but I can really use a hand.
Try checking the MIDI clock tempo settings. Make sure it is set to Internal or Auto.

1. - Select a program sound, like H12.
The arpeggiator is more effective with sounds that is similar to guitar/keybord/lead/synth sound. Ofcourse it works with pads/string/effects but is often related to tweak the sound to make the arpeggiator sound good to those sounds.
2. Actually is not many buttons rquired to enable the arpeggiator on the Radias. (I refer to page. 22 in the manual - Assigning the arpeggiator to a sound).
- On the LCD screen you will se the T1 that probably have "Kling Bells" attached. On the right side of the word u might see an "A", "1" or "2". If you see any of those letter/numbers, that's mean that the arpeggiator is connected (A) or the step seq ("1", "2").
- If you don't see, push the On button (it will be lit) on your radias (can be found under the "topic" arpeggiator/step seq ON YOU radias).
press a note key. You will probably here some arpeggiator sound now, if you don't, try to push the "SELECT" button, and press some note key again.
- When you release the key note, the arpeggiator will stop. To make it go in the "background" press "LATCH" and then press a note key. If you add a more timbre, you can make one (ex. T1) go in the background while you play with another sound (ex. T2).
