If you're a Mr Rudess fan you might be interested in these 5 videos of Jordan being interviewed by Steve Fortimoni. Mr Rudess shows off his Kronos.

Thanks for sharing, those are always interesting.

I like how he uses the up-arrow to move between the sets instead of the touch screen. It does make sense when you think of it.

Looking at him fiddling with the timbers in his combi bring a feeling of familiarity. Pretty cool!

I actually like how he used the master slider to control the volume of all timbres in his combo, except the piano .

That really shows how much little details and customization the Kronos will let you do .

Jordan R. & the Karma function, they are such better musicians than me.

This is a great video series, JR's comments on the Kronos and it's useage are worth about 10,000 forums post.

Excellent video, even though Jordan's finger are a blur. He shows us a little bit of the techniques for using the Kronos and iPad (& V-synth) in a live performance situation

I think if more Kronos ( and perhaps other synth) users see what one can do with this keyboard, they'd be amazed. I know I am. No doubt that it takes an a lot of time to figure out all the patches, zones, effects, patch changes, but the ability to use ONLY one synth is remarkable - especially with the type of music that Jordan is playing. Awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Totally agree. One other thing worth noting is that regardless of anyone's opinion of Jordan's style of playing (er "wanking" as some here have referred to it), no one can deny the pure passion and breadth of knowledge he has about the gear he uses. So many people today rely on presets and such and here is a guy that literally knows more about how the synth operates than probably some of the people at Korg. And that goes for pretty much all the gear he's had before that as well (Korg, Roland, Kurzweil, etc...). It's very impressive to actually see someone who can truly use the tool to it's fullest potential.

Great videos, especially the ones on the Kronos.

I think I barely use the power the Kronos really has seeing his video.

He mentioned something like thousands of hours of programming .. I'm afraid I don't have that time. However I enjoy every minute of making music (and programming) the synth.
