Hi everyone,
I'm trying to mix with the nanoKONTROL 2 but I"m loosing my mind. Everytime I switch to a new set of track and the faders of the nanoKONTROL are not align with the Cubase's mixer and I move the nano one's, the ones in Cubase jump to the position of the nano's!!!!
This is driving me crazy! Of course that I'm not expecting to have "motorized" faders behavier on the nano's but there's a solution for this issue?
I've already tried to change to Slide Mode in Cubase to Touch Mode eot no sucess.
Anyone?
Thanks in advance.
Greetings
Cubase 5 faders "jumping" with nanoKONTROl 2!

I'm trying do fix the same thing here:
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=73886
Seems that isn't possible... or at least no one knows how to do it.
If this isn't really possible I find nanoKONTROL useless for mixing

This is a really a Cubase issue, not nanoKONTROL, as in Cubase should offer the option to allow the control knobs to "pickup" the parameter or for the parameter to "jump" when the controller is moved.
The only way to implement this properly is to use motorised faders/pots, or to use encoders on the control surface, and have Cubase send messages to the controller telling it where the current control settings are. Hardware that can do this is rather pricey.
The Akai APC40 has encoders with LEDs indicating the controller "position" on the knobs and this works well in Ableton Live, but the functions controlled by the faders still jump when the faders are moved, unless "pickup" is selected as the MIDI control behaviour in Ableton settings. I'm surprised Cubase can't do this.
