I have no Mic

I bought my MicroKorg used and it did not come with a Mic.

It would seem that regardless which of my (cheap) mics that I plug into it that the output volume is to low to hear 60% of the time.

What would be a good substitute?
Amiga 1200, MicroKorg, Korg KP3, Akai XP20.

I use a studio-standard Shure SM-57 plugged into the Dynamic mic jack on the back. I've got an XLR-to-TRS adaptor just for this purpose.
