Kronos 73/88 clonking key - Key spacer method.
I recently found out my Kronos 73 have been facing clonking issue.
While someone from our forum has successfully fixed this problem on his own with his spacer by adjusting the screws.
I lost my keyboard spacer and I am desperately trying to achieve this fix by using the same method. I have tried with my ID cards but it seems not very precise as I have done several times and the problem keeps changing between the keys.
Any idea guys ? May be some of you who still keep the key spacer can tell me the exact dimension of it so I can "replicate".
Thanks for helping out guys

When applying the fix, you have to put "spacers" on the whole keybed. Bank statements serve well.
If you just adjust some keys with the fix, other keys will become unadjusted until you put spacers in front of every single key. Once you did that, press every key and pull them out: it will be somewhat difficult because of the "spacers"

There was a previous thread where someone listed the exact dimensions of the spacers.
I just took mine to the shop for keybed fix + glitchy key repair and I put the spacers in before I packed it up. I really hope they don't lose them...

Take 2 sheets of A4 paper, bend those once at the half. You've got a working spacer for adjusting the keybed.Warman309 wrote:Hi MarPabl
Since I don't live in the US and have no idea how the bank statement over there looks.
However, take Credit/Master card as example, how is the workable key spacer look, compare to them ?
Thanks man

SPACERS
I do not have the spacers with me at present but as I remember they are very similar in thickness to a credit card so a plastic loyalty/bank/credit/ID card should work in a similar way.

you dont need to insert the spacers when you've already loosen the bolt.. if you already loosen it, just push the entire keybed into the kronos..
