Ok ok I get it now...
This is a clever sequence and he's just pressing keys and buttons to make it look like a real-time performance.. 8)

SURELY he can't be THAT good :?:

Or is his real name GOD

WOW!!! Unbelievable.

That is the kind of demo that I really enjoy watching.

It must have taken him a lot of time to set this up, and he is going to let the pack available on karma-lab forum as he stated on youtube. From what I understood for free!!

I would even pay for that.

Spectacular!
Apart from the fantastic sounds it was great to see Dan explaining how he laid everything out and talked about the performance aspect of it.

This is also a good demonstration, why enough well programmable controllers, a flexible OS and last not least KARMA on board can define the difference between a "performance synth" and a REAL performance synth like the Kronos.

Now - here's a challenge for you - and it you figure it out I'll pay for the result - how does J M Jarre create, in Equinoxe II, the slow sequences that rise and fall in pitch - and in speed - in an arc (though some of them start at a high pitch and drop in pitch and speed simultaneously? I've tried to figure this out for 30 years but it's (to me) among the most elusive of techniques; which I'd like to use in compositions. You find examples at starting times:

Equinoxe II

2.13
2.38
2.52
3.16
3.23
3.45
4.07
Hello Kevin,

I just finished the J.M.J Fx that you looking for 30 year. Will be included in this program combi pack. I have in intention to share the pack on Karma -Lab forum in a few days for free. I still adjust something controls to be perfect. Also some controls that adjust the Fx is not assign yet.

Why you don't ask me about this sound before? I've done it in ten minutes.
OSC Pitch MOD> AMS-Js +Y, Int +24

LFO1
sine waveform,Frq-08

Frequency MOD
AMS1 Js+Y, Int+75
AMS2 Js+y, Int+59

The Lfo1 is set to AMP mod And Filter MOD.

That's the secret.

Ah, Dan beat me to it :D

I've been a modular synth noodler for way too many years, and I realised straight away what Kevin wanted - I just needed to imagine sitting down in front of an ARP 2600 and start patching.

Looking forward to the sound set... Thanks Dan.

You just have to be impressed with the amount of time it took to craft the Karma scenes, voices, drum tracks, and then mix them all together with control surface interaction.

Very awesome demo, congratulations and thanks for sharing!!!
