With the battery, the Pa3X starts in under a minute. Without the battery start‐up time is between 2 and 3 minutes depending upon the amount of USER PCM installed.
That is not true, and we discussed about it. So, is bad battery problem with this issue?

I also concur with what Vex wrote. My Pa3X start-up time takes longer than 6 minutes WITH the battery!
Guys, lets keep this thread on topic.

I have a problem on my pa3x. Since I removed the battery can not be adjusted maax audio eq. Any change remembers only a few seconds. Have you had similar experiences?

Got the replacement battery in the mail a few days ago and replaced it. Seems to charge ok.
However, I thought that the old one needs to be shipped back, but I'm not seeing any info about shipping it back from the material that came. No pre-paid info or address to send it back to.
Hi Rich
My pa3x is a month old and it has come with a new battery.
but i have a problem. at full charge the battery level indicator shows 137 hours of backup time, but in reality it hardly lasts 30 hours. Cause when i turn the keyboard on after 30 hours or so the battery is totally drained out and it takes longer to start up, around 3 minutes i guess which otherwise is under a minute with the battery alive.
i don't know if it's a battery problem or the software that doesn't charge the battery properly.
Is there a problem if i load the new update since i have not battery attached to the pa3x?Or should i replace the battery first and then update the os?
Thanks in advance...

My advice is that you fit the new battery before doing an OS upgrade. I do not yet have a Pa3x, but even if I had one I wouldn't "test" doing an OS upgrade without a battery fitted, just in case I ended up with a "brick" instead of a working keyboard. If you really want to try it, then go ahead at your own risk and report the results here. But if you have a "brick" on your hands afterwards then you may have to take the Pa3x to a repair center to get the internal SSD restored to factory settings.
