Hi, i'm a french SV-1 user.
Just bought a 73 "black" version 2 months ago.
I just made a selection of sounds from factory sounds, soundpacks 1 & 2 and other free sounds i found on the net (especialy on korg german site) and want to share with you. Enjoy ;)

What do you mean by other free sounds?

(please tell me there is a bank of new sounds hidden on some German website that no one knosw about)

You can find various sound sets here on the german korg website. But i think that many of us know them.

thanks for posting- will look forward to checking them out. We should have a file section for these in the Korg Forums main section don't you think?

The Twinton Pack I just d/l is 12 kb in size. Just to clear this up. There aren't new sounds, right? Just variations on the ones already built into the instrument?

Yes: no new sounds!

The SV1 can't take on new samples like that. What it can do is have different sound settings that use the existing samples (for example a piano with overdrive vs a piano with compression and reverb)

Has anyone discovered a glockenspiel sound for the SV-1?

Would love to have that sound. But won't happen so will stick with a real one.

The Elec. Grand with pad, played stacatto in 3rd-4th 8va, gets me some of the way there. Thanks for your comment :lol:
