I still cant get the editor to work. I tried it for months but gave up 2 years ago then seen this thread and thought I'd try again but its now 2 hours later and still no joy.
I've tried uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling.
I think the problem is loading the OS1.2. when I try I get a message saying 'could not open sv1.pkg file because it is not a supported file type or has been damaged'.
I've searched for this sv1.pkg file to download on korgs website but cant find it. Really getting frustrated now as I love my SV1 but really want to try the soundpacks. Any help would be much appreciated. (I use windows 7-64)

Cheers,
David

Ya beauty!!!! I finally got it working after about 2 years of trying. For anyone else having problems the only thing I tried differently this time was downloading and installing this version of java:

http://download.cnet.com/Java-Runtime-E ... 09607.html

then I connected SV-1 to PC with both MIDI and USB cables, turned SV-1 on, re-installed the MIDI-USB driver, re-installed the editor and it worked. I now have soundpack 1. Gonna play about for a bit then check out soundpack 2.

Good luck to anyone else having problems.
