Sharp,

What utility software did you use to clone your Kronos hard drive?

Or did you simply install the base Kronos OS on the new drive via the DVDs?

Hi Martin.

I have the pro version, but the free version will do the same thing. It's just slower at doing it.

Sharp.

Given essentially equal pricing at Newegg for both Vertex3 and Agility3, which would be the optimum? Agility3's description specifically states it is backward compatible with SATA II 3Gbps, while Vertex3's claims nothing of the sort.

Decisions, decisions...

hello
I resumed this post because I found
cheap standard sandisk ssd;
I read that ssd are not top performances,
but is this really significant for kronos ?
reading speed up to 490MB should be enough...

Is not a matter of cost but availability,
because I found these ssd on a store near home,
so I can buy it without wait mailing, no worries
on warranty, no use credit card etc.

So, does someone experienced mounting
such sandisk drives into kronos?

Hi:

Sandisk drives will be mounted as any other.

Regarding reading speed, and If I'm not wrong, does not matter: everything is limited by SATA interface and Kronos will not take real advantage on higher reading speed.

Cheers
