I know exactly how all software work and as I said , this is not my issue.
The fact is that their system can stand any Vsti and all seem to work fine
but when trying to sample more than 25 sec duration with ESC, enough samples
stop at 2 sec sampling , that's the usual issue with that.
Just for the story I tried to reproduce that issue with a HP Pavilion dv7
laptop and external RME Sound Card and with my surprise happened the same
then I used my stronger Dell XPS 17 2860QM with same OPS/Ram & RME and task
worked like a charm !
Since then Pavilion went to my wife for internet surfing

Hello.
Ahhh.... Now I understand what your saying.

That's a completely different issue that has nothing whatsoever to do with system resources. That issue only applies to libraries that are encrypted. You sample a note and it either cuts off, or you end up with a lot of silence in your sample.

See my post here to get around this problem.

James
I saw topic , it's not the same issue , since ESC can work perfectly with fewer
multisample areas & lower sample durations.
Some samples are recorded perfectly and others stop in an undefined duration .
First I thought it was a matter of soundcards & setting but it wasn't really
Just like in above example I wrote.
Your topic's reference is exactly what my system never does in newer Kontakt VSTis
when a plugin works then ESC always works in any mode at least for me !
Also real time sampling with ESC UMO isn't a good option at all, since someone
is fully equipped.

Thanks for the discussion about ESC but my original questions are still not answered..

I Found out: for outomated sampling are 2 Programms avaliable:
ESC and SampleRobot...SampleRobot will include Kronos export in an upcoming Update and ESC is not longer supported as it seems.

But: Refering to my earlier post..
Is that unexpected behavior after SF2 import normal?
I did not understand the whole concept of User samplebacks,Preload.ksc Korg filesystems...
I Just want to add some own Samples/Sounds to the kronos from time to time and have them outoload...Do I have to create a single KSC File for every new HD-1 Programm (which contains own Samples)? This would cause to a big preload list...

Maybe best way would be another great Tutorial of QuiRobinez.

Hi AntonySharmman.
For get encryption, forget encrypted NIK formats. Just try what I've said on any VSTi that cannot be sampled normally in ESC and you will see the “Real Time” mode works regardless of how many samples your extracting.
Also real time sampling with ESC UMO isn't a good option at all, since someone
is fully equipped
If this is not acceptable, then your more or less just "giving up" without even trying.

Do it using the “Real Time” mode and it will work. I fail to see how this is not good enough when it has a 100% success rate.

Sure, it takes the program longer, but so what. Go off and have a cup of tea while it's automatically sampling the sounds on it's own. 8)

Sharp.

Hi TiGroove.
ESC and SampleRobot...SampleRobot will include Kronos export in an upcoming Update and ESC is not longer supported as it seems.
ESC is supported, it's just taking the developer a very long time to implament the Key Mapping function because he decided to rewrite the entire program, and maybe at the time it was underestimated just how much workload that would be.

Either way, 4.0 is coming

As for sample robot, it makes no difference if they add KRONOS support. That in fact is a complete waste of time on their side because the KRONOS already reads SF2 files really great.

So right now, both ESC and Sample Robot will work with the KRONOS.
Is that unexpected behavior after SF2 import normal?
You need to check the method you used to export the sample.

Did you use Bank or Instrument. You should have used Instrument.
Do I have to create a single KSC File for every new HD-1 Programm (which contains own Samples)?
No, but if you have already done this, simply load the KSC files one after another into “RAM” using the Append option. This will merge them all into one KSC file which you can save back to disk.

Sharp.

I'm glad to hear that ESC is still being supported and that there will be a version 4.0

Maybe my phrase formulation was wrong !
I wanted to say that ESC works in any newer VSTi , and in any task , since
every working Kontakt in my system, can work fine in all modes with ESC though
this procedure is useless for me at all since I work only with my own samples.
So what exactly to give up , when I use all modes and I can compare results of
them that are obvious ?
The issues I described above doesn't concern me but other mates that must be helped
and your real time suggestion was a good idea for them.

Thanks Sharp!

This is the Hint I needed...it seems to me like VSampler can only export SF2 as Bank.
So I just contacted the Developer of VSampler and wait what he will reply.

Vsampler exports only SF2 ,and if you like working with that then as I wrote before you can
use awave studio utility to convert SF2 to KMP for individual import to Kronos multisamples.

Yes, but there are two types of SF2 files.
Bank and Instrument. The KRONOS works better with Instrument files. When you load Bank files, often one single sound can become spread out across different programs. Which is exactly what happened to him.
use awave studio utility to convert SF2 to KMP for individual import to Kronos multisamples.
He could do that, but there is a bug in the current version 10.6 when it comes to reading SF2 files. If you load a SF2 files of 3 or more layers, the samples are assigned wrong to the keymap. There are other strange issues too with single layer samples.

Sure, no problem.
All I hope for is that now you know there is a solution, that you pass on the information to those people who were and probably still are stuck.

James, can you be more specific of which UA option you are talking about?

Thanks

Sorry mate, I have an email from you on this.

The AU is a tiny button that turns on and off the Virtual Keyboard.
If you have it pressed, and you select a multisample, everything gets loaded into RAM.

It's the little box to the right of your Multisample name.

Sharp.
