is there a way to downgrade, (lol) a kronos to its privious OS?
the one which i'm going to buy is already at 2.0.2.
i just needed to take a look at accessibility of this editor thing and it's going to take for ever.
i was supposed to either figure out that i would be able to use kronos or not, 20 days ago.

well let's forget about it untill 2013 methink

I downgraded from 2 to 1.5.1 and then up to 1.6 so I could use the editor again a couple of weeks ago without any problems. I'm going to go back to version 2 soon but I'm not going to purchase any additional sounds until they release the editor. The Kronos is plenty deep and comes with tons of usable sounds.

Dan at Korg was here today (October 6th) answering a few posts but nothing about editor 2.0 (reminder, Editor 1.x version do not work with 2.0 OS)and sequencer upgrade (reminder: to have great flagship synth with basic sequencer VS. so basic Krome synth with a great flagship sequencer).
Should I keep fingers crossed ?

Well, Korg haven't seem to mind making original Kronos owners wait a year for Editor 1.0. I would't wait for version 2 to enjoy your Kronos X. Find workarounds if it troubles you not to have an editor and enjoy the editor when it's out. A simplistic thought, but what else can you do, really?neomad wrote:

System 1: Korg Z1EX with UA Apollo Twin X and M1 Macbook Air. System 2: Korg Trinity V3 with HDR, DSI Mopho DT, Korg 01/W Pro, Soundcraft NotePad-8FX.
Hi Blink. In the meantime, I still enjoying my Kronos... but 'suffering' a limited touchscreen, basic sequencer and without PC/MAC editor. Which is clearly NOT the case for people that spent less than 30 % of Kronos value buying a Krome WS (they have great touchscreen capabilities, full features sequencer and a PC/MAC editor!)blinkofanI wrote:Well, Korg haven't seem to mind making original Kronos owners wait a year for Editor 1.0.
