How to set this up

Okay guys, I'm so lost. I'm pretty new to this, and I need help on configuring this setup.

What I currently own:
Korg Microkorg
MacBook Pro
QSC K12

What I'm about to purchase:
MIDI Controller (Likely an Axiom Pro, although opinions, feedback, and suggestions are welcome)

At first I wanted to purchase a MIDI controller so I can more comfortably play the sounds from my Microkorg synth (e.g. more octaves, bigger keys, etc), but now I need it more for playing softsynths form my MBP.
How would I go about hooking up a MIDI controller that plays from a softsynth, AND a Microkorg all on the same sound system?
Is it possible to have my MIDI controller play both the softsynth from the laptop AND the Microkorg?

I need to somehow be able to play the sounds from my laptop and Microkorg in a live setting.
