Has anyone used the K-Pro as a MIDI controller for synths?
If I was to connect the K-Pro MIDI Out > MicroX MIDI In could I use the touchpad to control the sounds on the MicroX?
Can you record loops with the external sound?
If so, can you then change the sound on the synth and record another loop? (I can't see how that would work)
Are the K-Pro internal sounds disabled when using it as a controller?

if you're using in EXT-CTRL mode then what hofa said is all true. If you're using it in its normal mode then it will still produce audio, still be able to record loops, and yes you could change the patch on your synth and record different synth sounds on separate loop banks or overdub for layering sounds onto a single bank.
I dusted off my Kpro recently... I'll test this out tonight to make sure I'm recalling its functionality correctly.
