What are the best studio monitors out there

I've had the same studio monitors for 11 yrs. Events 8. They are loosing their luster. Any suggestions? Haven't been in the market in awhile....

Best to nip to your local music store and let your ears and budget be the judge as to what you think is best.
Personally I love Genelec and use the 8030's but anything larger would be overkill for the room I'm in anyway.
What's best for one person, someone else will have a totally different take on them.
Good luck if you swap, the monitors you have are very good by the way
