Error message using new AU plug in Logic

Post by jmchiro1 »

This is the error message I got from Logic's AU manager:

ERROR: -2147450878 IN CALL Remove Property Listener

* * FAIL
--------------------------------------------------
AU VALIDATION FAILED: CORRECT THE ERRORS ABOVE.
--------------------------------------------------

validation result: failed validation

any ideas what might be wrong? Thank you!

Yes, I did open Logic in 32 bit mode, and could not get the AU plug in to validate.

10.7.?

There was an issue with 10.7.5 where many AU plugins did not pass validation. This was resolved with 10.7.5 supplemental update - http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1599

jmchiro,

have you found a resolution? I just tested the Kronos plugin in 10.7.5 with the supplemental update I linked above applied, and it validated fine, where it previously had failed validation.

Problem resolved!

Yes, your suggestion to use the 10.7.5 supplemental update did the trick! I can use the AU plug in feature in Logic.

Thank you VERY much!
