I understand perfect german, basically the video shows the similarities between the Krome and previous versions (M50, etc). Unfortunately the Krome doesn't integrate a digital output which means that all the issues related to analog noise (50hz hum, HF interferences and leveling mismatch) in DA to AD conversion affects recording quality. The integration of a DAW interface would be welcome, anyway I want to share an interesting post about the Pa3X issues when sound is recorded from analog outputs to a mixer.

I found another great video about Krome (I can hear a small hum noise when Krome is played)

As for the Korg workstations I've had, this was never a problem.
Unfortunately the quality of AD/DA converters will not change the main problems recording 100% analog, noises such antialiasing components, clock jitter and quantization errors on the conversion process are always present and this affects quality.

A DAW digital interface in other words 100% digital domain is superior in quality avoiding all the implications/limitations working with DA/AD conversions on the recordings.

PURIST - vs - REALIST

Perhaps the Krome's D/A conversion is not very pristine, but we are talking about a budget keyboard.

The most convenient way to achieve all digital recordings,it to be 100% software-based and eliminate hardware workstations altogether...but that's not something I'm particularly interested in.
Ditto. For the market target the Korme is designed for, analog outs will serve us well. And it has been servicing tons of pros using analog outs during gigging.

Awesome. I love how this guy plays. I hardly understand a thing, but I love to watch him demo keyboards.
