I'm sorry that you're having difficulties. Almost all countries have a Korg distributor; see the link in my signature for details. Please contact yours for assistance; they should be glad to help.

Hi.

Well the problem with the service is...

The only official dealer here have nice policy..

iF you don't buy to the dealer.. They don't give you any service...

That's the naked true..

And I bougth this board in Music123..... In USA.

I have few options...

Do it for myself or send the keyboard to Hialeah Sam Ash... (korg service)

And that... Is toooooo very complicated.

For that
.. Is any body have a idea about this problem....

Thanks

It's generally a good idea to buy from within your own country, rather than importing from elsewhere. That said, if you bought it from a store in the USA, then Korg USA should be able to provide support for you. I would advise that you contact them; see the link in my signature.

Yes...this is true...

but

Today the dealer here don't have kronos..

and the prices (if) are amazing high...

This is not an open market in musical instrument....

And the services are 3rd persons with an electronic repair store..!!!

This is a fantasy island... Anything can happen..!

I'd like to add my perspective. As a service center for numerous brands such as Yamaha, Roland, Hammond etc. (not Korg) we have relationships with both the factories and the dealers. For example, warranty work is reimbursed from the manufacturer under their warranty terms. They have guidelines as to what is considered warranty and how much is paid for work. Unfortunately warranty rates are typically lower than rates charged by services out of warranty. Handling warranty service can be a burden on a service company.

Our company decided many years ago to make arrangements with the dealers for them to cover the difference on their warranty work. Since they make money on the initial sale, they can better absorb this cost than our company. For example, one dealer may only sell Yamaha so they are only paying the difference on those products. We however service many brands so would have to absorb this loss across many more products.

That said, we automatically have a problem with warranty products not purchased from our dealer. In many cases we will contact the original dealer and explain our policy and many will work with us. Not always though.

My personal perspective is you should deal with your local dealer. You may even pay a little more but you're supporting a music store that has a lot of overhead who offers you the ability to look at and play instruments that you may be interested in buying. Internet sales hurt local businesses and potentially can be a headache if something does go wrong.

Very interesting your point of view.

That is not applicable here...

The korg dealer here is very very small.
The Last time I only see a m50, x5,n364.... Forget to see in this store a M3
neither Kronos... This store is small. toooooo small and very expensive. The normal price is the double or more at the standard USA price.

For this reason I buy outside...

This is not like a Sam Ash or guitar center.. No man
...
Is like a little apartment for a single person..!

The standard rules isn't. Apply here..

From buy dollars to import merchandise....

But is enough about the warranty.. This is not my post..

Os about the keyboard problem ...

Anybody knows what happen....???

Thanks all before comments. I appreciate that. But this is no my actual problem...

Thank for any idea...

Since you purchased it from the United States, your first call should be to Korg USA. They can advise you on how to proceed.
