Hi levioter,

These particular samples weren't copy protected, so they simply came as wave files in the Kontakt library. I simply copied these onto a USB stick and then mapped (all 350 of them) to multisamples on the KRONOS itself.

On the other hand, I'm also working on porting across several Vienna String Library sounds and these samples are encrypted. For these I've been using SampleRboto to automatcially resample them, using nothing but the KRONOS.

I think there are soe other tutorials about sampling VSTs with SampleRobot/ESC. SampleRobot makes resampling a breeze.

Wouah !
Very impressive if you did all that on the Kronos itself !
You should have spent a lot of time to prepare all that in the Kronos itself !
Amazing job !

Thanks for your kind and precise remarks.

I may be inspired to make a try myself ?? !! :D

Cheers :D

Hi SeedyLee,

great work and very well explained.
You encourages me to create a realistic accordeon sound with release-sounds, some "air" and different (velocity-controlled) bellow-shake-in/out-Layers...
I´m very excited if you offer your pcg and/or samples for a free download.

Regards
Tim

Hi SeedyLee,
about the license for the samples:
Why don't you ask to the author if he/her would accept to put your multisaples as a KORG Kronos format in addition to his/her Kontakt format.
This way we can download the stuff directly from his/her site.
In addition you and the author would be able to share the eventual (pretty sure for most of us) donations.

Think about it

Cheers :D

I sent an email to the author of the samples a few months ago, but unfortunately never heard back.

I hope you manage to get this sorted. If not, a PCG and instructions for those for have Kontakt would be great. It's a really good sounding bank which would be very useful with the Kronos.
