Controlling prophecy arp clock externally

Hi.
I have a radias and would like my prophecy to be synced to the clock of the radias. I have connected the midi cable between these 2 synth and set the clock to external in the prophecy. However my problem is how do I achieve this without the radias playing notes of the prophecy? Just wanna synced both clocks only.
