MP3 pan

Post by simondrake »

Dear Friends,

I am practising with the Aebersold courses and I have some mp3 backing tracks that I play in song mode on my PA2X trying to play along with them some solos or improvisations.
As you probably know these mp3s have drums and bass recorded on the left channel and piano on the right so if you put the pan on the left you only listen to the drums and bass, which is very convenient for playing keyboard tracks.

I could not find a way to move the PAN of the mp3 audio board to the left channels leaving the real time tracks in stereo. Is it possible? I saw that I can do it with the single midi tracks going to menu-mixer tuning- scrolling through the tracks, but nothing for the mp3.

Any suggestion? I don't want to put the whole pan to the left because I practise with headphones and having both the backing track and the real time tracks in one ear is very disturbing to me.

thanks for your help,

Simone

Hi Simone!

You can connect your PSR-3000 Audio out to Pa2XPro audio in (Right)
and pan your MP3 left and play your practising part on the PSR.
I thing it will work.

Thanks Tom, I'll try even though the keybed of the psr is only 61 keys and I'd prefer to play on the pa2x. Anyway it's a solution

Regards, Simone
