Controlling volume in Piano strings combi

I was wondering how to control vol in piano strings combi... say I wanted no strings at first and then fade in strings with on of the assignable knobs...is that possible in a combi... I like one of the piano string combi already set up... just want to fade the strings and bring them in when i want to... thanks in advance for any help....
