Copy-Protection at startup fail

Post by Danielsan »

Hi,

I have a problem with my korg pa2x pro.
At the end of the startup/load i get an error saying

(Some copy-protected resources have been found. please connect the USB pen containing the orginal protected resources and press Retry or press Cancel to ignore them)

When i press cancel the keyboard starts but some functions does not work for exampel (Song play mode) where you listen to Mp3 and Midi.

I have done a format by pressing Intro 1 and start and after that installed the os res 2.02 like i always do. But there seems to be somthing stuck that does not whant to be removed. (Some cope-protected files) wich i dont have a clou absolut. I dont own any copy protected files and have always just been using 3 sets for the last 2 years.

Is there any other whay to format the device? please help

Not sure if its the same, but on the 3X there is a dropdown menu in media mode that gives you the option to protect or unprotect. You may have protected a folder by mistake.
