It seems to be the old faithful note cutoff problem to me.

On the X model?

That doesn't bode well for the cutoff problem finally being sorted.

this is rather strange, i doubt that it's caused by a double trigger because the double sound it's on almost any key in this demo.

It sounds like a very short delay effect on the piano sound, is this a factory sound or an own programmed sound?

it could also be caused by a midi feedback (sounds the same), where you route the output of the kronos to a DAW and get the note on info right back.

the note cutoff problem before with the keyboards was rather different, in your demo every second sound has the same velocity, the cutoff problem was an occasional second bounce with velocity 0 that cutoff the previous note. This doesn't sound like a cutoff problem.

Based on the demo my guess is that you have a midi loop.

Yes agreed - get it back to Korg for repair.

Unfortunate that you've got this problem and doubly unfortunate that this case is about the Kronos X - so the keybed problem persists into that productline too?

Guys, please don't immediately assume that there is something in need of repair. Yes, it is always possible (although I can't think of a hardware problem which would cause this particular issue). However, it's also quite likely that there is something simple in the user's setup which can be sorted out by their Korg distributor's tech support. Talking with them, especially in real-time, is a great way to solve such problems. So - cyyap95, please contact your Korg distributor and I'm sure that they'll be able to help you (including arranging repair if it is actually necessary); see the link in my signature.

Best regards,

This sounds really like a midi feedback !

Did you have any computer or midi controller connected to the Kronos ?

I hope for you this is a user error !

Cheers :D
