Thanks for your kind wordsAssyrianpianist wrote:Loved the song. I would've liked to hear the Cello little earlier in the song.sl72 wrote:Hi.
Here is a little song that is Written by Maria Mena from Norway.
Today after dinner me and my 17 year old dauther made this. All done with Kronos. The microfon used is a Sennhiser e855 dynamic mic. I didn`t even have a mic stand![]()
Sorry for my playing but it is mostley done in one take..
Sound used are: I-A001 German dark grand, I-A090 FAP7 Cave Choir, I-C033 String Quartet, I-B107 FM pluck bells and I-C029 Cello/solo.
I hope you enjoy!

That String Quartet sound is not convincing at all. I'm not talking about your arrangment but the quality of the sound.

You know it was all made in 2 hours, so the arrangment just "happend". The string Quartet was played in one take and I agree, it dosen`t sound that convincing.
I`ll try to do better next time

BUT, I think the Kronos i a fantastic product. It`s incredible that you can sit down in front of a keyboard and record a song with every instrument and effects in just a couple of hours. And then you can make a wav file and distrubute it to the world, just like that. These are exiting times we live in

Well, only if she wants to of course. She's got a good voice imho but I think she will be able to perform even better when she is taught how to make the best use of it. So if she enjoys singing she could do either that or maybe join some kind of pop-choir.sl72 wrote:No shes not taking lessons. But maybe she should?macroenie wrote:Good performance. I hear potential here, is she taking singing lessons?
Best of luck and hope to hear more of you both in the near future.
One life, one chance
I agree with what's already been said. The song is beautiful, her voice is amazing for someone who has not had lessons. Keep encouraging her and you definately should be proud of both her and yourslef. Great job!
