Krome upgrade from M50... Better sounds ?

Post by yzf125 »

Hey guys, I sold my M50 and have a Krome 61 on order, Can I expect better quality sounds with the Krome or am I going to get the same sounds ??

I thought my M50 had ok sounds but very thin sounding and I hope its not still the case with the Krome...

Thanks for any input !!

krome as a huge improvement on Grand Piano and EPs section with respect to M50, further also some drum kits have been enhanced.

the other waveform should be the same as M50

Well got it today and its going back...... Im very disapointed with it.

1: VERY cheap key bed

2: Very cheap knobs

3: Takes just about a Minute to boot up !

4: Has less sounds than my M50 had

5: Doesnt sound any better than my M50

Hey but it has a nice touch screen

Im going back to Yamaha ......................

Krome is a budget line synth. The pianos, EPs and touch screen are killer features at this price point. Also, every manufacturer reboxes old tech, the Motif series has been essentially unchanged since it came out, even losing a few features in the process.

That said, you should definitely get a board that feels right for you! Hope you have better luck elsewhere!
