I have layered and split the keyboard with piano over the full keyboard and brass the top two octaves. I can bring the brass in and out via the expression pedal but is there a way to do the opposite so as the brass comes in the piano disappears?
Thanks

I use this approach:
In global controller settings, set the pedal to control RT slider 5, 6, 7 or 8.
In the combi, set that RT slider to the CC for X-Y Mode X or Y. (Defaults are 118/119.)
Set up that axis in Combi X-Y volume control to fade timbres in/out, with a choice of center volume.
There are other ways to accomplish it, like this http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... p?p=522627 or setting pedal to another CC# then assigning it as level AMS per program, or to level of different IFX. I found the above method easiest to set up and the most flexible, allowing other pedal uses per combi.
