I don't own a Kronos so I am afraid I don't know all there is to know about them. As far as I understand it they run on a 2 core Atom Processor, which is an Intel Tablet processor. In order for Kronos to duplicate Radias sounds exactly it would have to have a software version of Radias that I don't believe exists, at least no to run on the Kronos OS. The Radias Module in the M3 has it's own processors, probably Sharks and/or something else, I am not sure that it has identicle PCM and Analog reference waves. I know that Kronos does have Modled Anaog programs loaded into it. The Poly Six, the MS-20, and the AL-1 from the Oasys, the MOD-7 has VPM sythesis which the Radias has. I am sure the Kronos has modulation sequencing somewhere in it, but how many engines can you use at the same time for a Timbre? The other thing is that the effects are probably a bit different and the filters might be to. The new King Korg has filter Modeling which sounds cool for getting it to sound like other synths, but Korg just released that with that synth. All I was saying is that an exact match might be impossible, but a very close match and one that fills the bill so to speak, I am sure the Kronos can do. I just don't think there is any way to convert an M-3 Radias exp sound to a .pcg that will work in Kronos, I may very well be wrong. I know regular M-3 .pcg files can be. I might be wrong, but I think PCG Tools that one of the Forum members made might do it. You obviousely know alot more about it than I do. I was just explaining why I said what I did.
Peace,
Brian

Oh Honestly. I can give you the .RDL file for your Radias-R, you can open it in the Radias Editor and I am sure the AL-1 is capable of making the sound as it is not a very complicated one to make. When you have it open in the Radias editor (Korg usually uses very similar parameters) it should not be hard to recreate. It is basically a 2 oscillator saw wave with a 3 voice unison w/ small detune and large spread, a 12dB LP filter, some flanger, smooth hall reverb and a little keytrack controlled LFO1 freq. which is a triangle, LFO 2 is a sine. Off set the pitch on the 2 saws a little and equalize it. Korg has the EQ up at the ends and down in the middle. I assume you paid $3000 +/- for the board for more than the presets, I certainly hope so or you could have saved a fortune and bought a Krome. Best of luck, if you want the .RDL file let me know. If I had a Kronos I would make a .PCG file for you, but unfortunately I don't and probably won't for a while unless I win the lottery or something like that! Best of luck.
Peace,
Brian
P.S. - Sorry if I sounded a bit condesending or acerbic. I suppose it is mostly due to the fact that I REALLY want my own Kronos, it is the greenfaced monster of envy coming out in me.

For more complex sounds I have had some success modelling the Radias voice structure in mod-7. It is waay more powerful than the Radias but it's the only engine that comes close for sounds that take full advantage of the Radias features.

It's not that hard to recreate that sound on the kronos, there is a Preset on the kronos called Euphoria Lead (or something like that). You only have to modify that one slightly to get a sound that looks like the one that was posted by AMS.Malagant wrote:i need the radias trancematic to use only on kronos,so thx again but that wont help
In the next demo at 1.47 i'm using that preset combined with a pad of my own to get a similar sound. Although i'm playing it in the high register you can hear how the basic program sounds, just use that one as your starting point and you can get really close.
