Korg MR-2000 reference level

Post by Vahevahe »

I don't understand this setting option in the mr-2000. I'm using a lynx aurora 16 and the reference level for that unit is 0 VU= -16dbfs. So would the ideal reference level be -16 in the korg?

Thanks in advance.

BUMP please.

This is quite old but I don't see it answered.

I too do not understand the reference level adjustment in the MR2000s. Can someone explain how this setting relates to reference level and available headroom?

Thanks.

So what is the answer. I believe it relates to the output voltage, i.e. volume matching between components, but have no basis for that belief....does anyone know?
