New version 1.7.0 of the legacy digital collection.

Post by Wookiee »

Hi Good people, new to forums but not new to my M1 and Wavestation have been using since initial release.

I am just in the process of installing the upgrades of these products and I note the installer wants into install in the Program(x86) directory.

Do any of you good people know if this is correct and does it mean they are not full 64bit programs?

Thanks in advance

Have a look at my last post here: http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... 9&start=15

You can let it all install to the default locations, but then need to point your sequencer to the Korg directory, that would be C:Program Files\Korg for it to 'see' the instruments.

Thanks appreciated

I figured as much but the installer now seems to have stalled after initially failing.

Just so ya know it is not hardware related I have been using DAW's since er 1997 current PC is an Inta Audio dedicated DAW,

Asus MoB CPU is 2600K 3.4 Ghz, 8 Gig Ram and Windoz 7 64 Bit with a Focusrite Saffire Pro 26i/o Interface. O:)

I have upgraded to the 64-bit collection, but in Sonar X2, when I insert an MDEX effect, the popup still identifies it as "MDEX (32-bit)". I have rerun the 64-bit installation and for MDEX and have verified that the installation was to the directory that the Sonar Plugin Manager lists that it is in. Is MDEX really 64-bit, or is it actually still 32-bit?

64 bit or not?

Sort of simiLAR BUT ON MY MAC PRO/64 BIT/Logic Pro 9 system, I've loaded up the new Korg plug-ins and though they are listed under 64 bit instruments (Audio Units) on the graphic, they say 32 bit on the bottom....

Any thoughts?

When I load MDE-X audio effect in Sonar X2, Win7 x64, I do NOT get a "32-bit popup message. I assume it is a 64-bit VST.

I would suggest the following:
1. delete all of the Korg VST plugins from your computer's plugin directory
2. Perform a "re-scan" all plugins in Sonar Plugin Manager.
3. Verify you no Korg plugins show up in Sonar
4. Re-install all of the Korg plugins, making sure you are using the 64-bit installers.
