As I frequently refer , Pa600 is cheap for one basic reason ... that has no sampler editor and you can only import or delete PCM !
You can't edit or create multisamples from scratch , even to assign a sample or wav file to a sound since it's just a PCM player ,
just like a read-only DVD player , so either convert it to mp3 and play it as a song nor create a multisample in Pa3X
and then import it to Pa600.
The real editor of Pa600 resources is only Pa3X and it can safely load a SET only made by this !

It's already announced in manual , that Pa600 PCM resources will be based on third-party developers , and let me add
"with deeper programming knowledge" 'cause though manufacturer claims for compatibility with all PaSeries SETs , they
omitted the word "proper resources" and not amateur's improvising settings resources that can conflict this sensitive arranger !

You can't in Pa600 , not only 'cause are compressed but as I wrote above you need Pa3X !
Compressed PCM isn't an option for Pa600 !

Only Pa3X can decompress its compressed resources !
A friend of yours that owns Pa3X is required and a lot of personal work (according to number of samples ) ,
all samples must be saved decompressed , one by one since there is no global decompression function in Pa3X
and finally save the proper resources architecture SET.ALL in order to import it in Pa600.

As a user of PA600.
READ MANUALS. That KB had a compabilty to read them not edit.
You can add samples only with Sounds or DrumKits.
You can use them and after save them with sounds (and DK)
Editing of a sample is not possibole and the memory is only 96MB
You can delete unwanted (not used) samples from Your KB.
Just use your resources carefully.

Addenum:

Only what I see is that, that many local versions use that (samples area)
So there must be a program to make this things.
Also all the local stuff uses one small (or big) part of a PA600.
It is called like a "Micro SD Card". Maybe Korg keeps that issue for fortune?
Today it is used as a dongle.
Of course I want to know much more, and bring out, and more, more, more...
Today i wanna know the same.
