STS Mode

I remember switching off 'STS Mode' button leaves all the sts settings unchanged while we change the style.

But now i am unable to do it.
Bug in 1.6 ??
Someone please confirm.

No, only actual sounds and effects do not change, but STSs are always linked to Style. From Manual, page 9:

STS MODE
This button cycles between the following functions.

On When a different Style (or the same again) is selected, STS 1 is automatically selected. The Keyboard sounds and effects will change, along with the Style sounds and effects.
Flashing Variation/STS Link function activated. This func- tion makes each Variation recall the correspond- ing STS when selected. For example, select Variation 2, and STS 2 will be automatically recalled; select Variation 3, and STS 3 will be automatically recalled.
Off When you select a different Style (or the same again), the Style sounds and effects will change. The Keyboard sounds and effects will not change.

On my PA3X-76 with OS 1.60

1. put STS MODE ON
2. select Ballad-Organ Ballad Style
3. you got UP1=BX3Rock1V UP2=BX3Rock2V UP3=Vibraphone
4. select Country-Easy Contry
5. you got UP1=JazzHarmDNC UP2=Harmonica UP3=Cornet Pro 2

1. put STS MODE ON
2. select Ballad-Organ Ballad Style
3. you got UP1=BX3Rock1V UP2=BX3Rock2V UP3=Vibraphone
4. put STS MODE OFF
5. select Country-Easy Contry
6. you got UP1=BX3Rock1V UP2=BX3Rock2V UP3=Vibraphone

What's happen on your unit?

1. I put STS MODE ON
2. Selected Ballad-Organ Ballad Style
3. I got Rock Organ (STS1) Electric Piano(STS2) Split Organ (STS3) Distortion Gtr (STS4)

4. Now I put STS MODE OFF
5. Selected Country-Easy Contry
6.I got Harmonica (STS1) OverDrive Gtr(STS2) Alto Sax(STS3) Scat Voices(STS4)

My memory is (OS 1.5) If STS MODE is OFF , all STS's from last Style i was playng , will remain with any new LOADED STYLE

No, the STSs are linked to style since PA2X (may be PA1X), but with "STS MODE" off normal PA3X doesn't load STS1 automatically: only when you select manually any STS you load STS linked to specific style.

If with STS MODE off you have a change sounds changing style without selecting any STS you have some trouble, it is not a normal behavior: may be you must contact Korg assistance.

Before time some friend wrote sts fault (I remember so it was like ; is not accept to write on sts so time but some time its Ok)

Pa3X with OS 1.60 STS argument has realy serious alot of bug!

I have been tried to write to sts then there isnt any result! There isnt writed STS!
THATS ALL? NO!

INTERESTING;
I want to wtrite to performance randomized instrument . Its came writed sts on display..

Whats happend??..

STS EVENTS IS VERY IMPORTANT THING FOR ERGONOMICALY USING

PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THIS ISSUE
