My NanoKontrol2's slider caps are always falling off!

Post by Bodega »

Hi all,

I'm on the whole pretty happy with my NanoKontrol2, the only problem is that the slider caps are constantly falling off.

I lost one when playing an outdoor gig - it stuck to my finger as I took my hand off it, then fell off and through a crack in the makeshift floor. The others are regularly popping off.

Do any of you have suggestions of something to use to get them to stick on better? Super-glue would be a little too permanent - I might want to swap out the caps for something more visible at some point - but is there a "semi-permanent" someone can recommend?

thanks!
Matthew

Bump?

I talked to the local distributor here in Canada and they don't have any replacement caps, which seems a bit silly, considering they're always falling off....

You might need to contact Korg Technical Support - they might be able to help. Considering the item is about $60 USD, though - they just may consider the NanoKontrol a consumable item, once the controls start coming off or other technical problem(s) arrise, you buy a new one, like a computer typing keyboard or mouse.

Unfortunately Korg Technical Support here goes through regional distributors like the one that can't help me.

I'll try emailing the main US site and see where that gets me.
