If the dual screens are real it's just a gimmick like Sharp said. They could have used one large screen and implemented a split window interface. King Korg's multiple displays are actually useful since they are small and next to the controls they are used for.

My synth has 2 screens and yours only has one.

There is absolutely no advantage in having two small screens mounted in the same location vs one larger screen mounted in the same location

Devil's advocate, you could equally say to others who have studios, why have two LCD monitors when you can have one really long one?

In a workstation synth, you could have one screen designing a patch or recording a sample, and the other screen for adding effects, or for manipulating the samples in sequencing mode or similar. No need for page swapping all the while.

But that photo does look extremely odd to the eyes.

So if this foto is true it looks like Roland cannot develop anything new and better, but they puted two screens...... and think it might be a fail...

A long time ago Roland did have an arranger before with 2 screens if my memory serves me correctly. For me it is more important to find out the other features of the new arranger. If it includes all of the Integra 7 sounds and functionality + BK7M arranger in a 76 note keyboard I'm definitely interested.

Yes, the JV-1000 which is an impressive instrument by that time, but didn't sell very well.

I remember yesterday it still was there and there was so many dislikes!!

Awrybody decideds for them self but my advice will be:
People do not buy that from Roland because they removed the like option and also they locked comments, because it can mean ony one thing: is that Roland wants to hide something from public, because if they had a trully great product they would not remove like option and they would not lock comments as well.

It seems that the picture is not photoshopped, just watch this clip featuring a demonstration about the new BK-9 with a SN-engine, and indeed it has a dual screen.

Don't get me wrong: both the Jazz guitar in "Just the two of us" and the SN sax sound really well. Good job with SN sounds!
BUT: putting their JP-80/Integra sounds into other devices is anything but a breaktrough, and certainly no "big comeback".

The double screen is another completely silly decision of their funny actual Japanese management. A split screen NEVER, by definition, has any advantage over ONE big screen. In fact's it's just the other way round: on one screen you can access a lot of information at one glance, not on a split screen. Imagine a piano roll view: it can NEVER look remotely useable on such a split screen. But the other way round anything works: you can have one big view, or split the screen by software however you want.

One more extremely stupid design decision by the Roland management. They seem to make a habit of spoiling simply everything they get their hands on, devaluating all the good stuff they have, once and again, with stunning consequence since Fantom G times. Hard to believe!

Well, Roland's marketing crew has a unique way of relating to reality and suggesting the unintended.

While it's true that this is just the same re-shuffling strategy Roland has used so often in the past, if the new arranger is priced right it could offer the Tyros strong competition with the SN sounds.
Apparently Roland seems to think there is a lot of money to be made in the arranger market, since they also introduced the BK-3 only last january.

I am not really interested in arrangers, and I was hoping for something different from Roland, like for instance Roland's answer to the Kronos.
Re-shuffling existing technology can become interesting if they pair SN technology with a V-synth in a workstation, add a dash of VA and an intuitive, logical interface (as well as a flexible file structure), and I am sure that would catch the attention of a lot of folks.

I think that picture was leeked by Roland them self....
to say it is a new arranger but no, it is not Fantom G replacment...
