Hi guys,
I have a Kaossilator Pro connected to a KP3 and i want to add my Pad Kontrol midi controller into the mix so i can the sample drum pads using Reason into the KP3.
Can someone point me in the right direction as to how i would set this up? Would i need to include s mixer as the main hub?
Any help would be appreciated - thanks in advance guys.

Connect the L+R outputs from the KoPro into one stereo line input channel of the mixer, or into two mono line inputs of the mixer (one panned left and the other panned right). Do the same thing with two line outputs from the computer's L+R audio audio into different inputs on the mixer. Hook the stereo line outputs of the mixer into the line inputs of the KP3. Adjust the input levels on the mixer to be in the green and peaking yellow, not in the red. Adjust the channel levels on the mixer to produce about the same output levels when switching from playing the KoPro or Reason. Hook up the PadKontrol to the computer with USB to play drums on Reason (or Battery, or any other synth/VST on the computer. You'll be able to sample whatever you play on the KoPro on itself or on the KP3. Anything you play in Reason can be sampled on the KP3.
An alternate scenario can be done without a mixer by hooking the computer output to the inputs of the KoPro, then hook the outputs of the KoPro to the inputs of the KP3. That will let you sample the internal sounds of the KoPro or the audio from Reason onto the KoPro, and then anything output on the KoPro can be sampled on the KP3 too.
