microSTATION editor can't find my microSTATION !

Hi everyone,

Since a couple od days, when I lauch the microSTATION editor, a popup tells me it can't find any microstation hardware. And then, the editor appears but isn't functionnal.

I tried to remove the application, and then re-install it, it doesn't change anything. So, I tried to re-install the MIDI driver : the behaviour is still the same.

I tried to use a laptop, install driver and editor, and it works perfectly. So, I don't understand what's going on my main PC...

My config : windows 8 64bits (main desktop PC and laptop), last driver version from korg website and last editor version also, USB cable pluged directly (no USB hub).

Any idea ?

Try connecting microstion to different usb (one it hasn't been connected to)

Try running it under XP compatibility mode in Windows 8.

If you have XP check on it also to rule out malfunctionting usb port on the microstation
