Triton MASTER EFFECTS HELP...

Post by SIMIMAGE »

I have the Korg Triton Studio 88 key.
I know how to insert effects, but when I go to use MASTER EFFECTs, there is no change in sound. How the heck do you 'activate' the inserts here?

- MFX1 and MFX2 are 'on' with selected effects being delay and reverb
- RETURN 1 and 2 are at 64
- The EQ works fine to EQ the whole sequencer

What could possibly be wrong here? Why wont the effects effect the sound???
Only the EQ changes the sound.

Please help.

On the right hand side of the Insert FX page you'll see two virtual knobs that control the send from the IFX to either module of the MFX.

You can send to one or the other or both, in amounts from "mostly dry" to "all the way wet" depending on how subtle or obvious you want to be.

Dry or un-routed sounds (per IFX) can still be routed to MFX using the parameters at the lower part of the IFX page where individual routing assignments are made.

But the send to MFX has to be on in IFX routing page in order for any sound to be effected by MFX.

EQ is not by-passable and will effect the total mix regardless of the IFX or MFX used.
