Fuji Real 3D W3 Camera.

Post by Sharp »

My wife wanted to get a new family camera as the one we have is old, and nobody is allowed to touch my DSLR. Anyway, headed on over to Amazon and we spotted the Fuji Real 3D W3 Camera was on special at the time for £200 Pounds. That's more than half the price of what it originally was.

Considering this is a family camera and our kids future will most certainly involved 3D TV and 3D everything in the future, we thought it would be a good idea to buy a 3D Camera as it does both normal 2D and 3D all at the same time.

OMG...!!!! This thing is amazing.

For 3D it's “no glasses” 3D. Simply take a photo and it comes up on the screen in eye popping 3D without having to put on a pair of shades. The technology in the screen is very different from the way the Nintendo 3DS works, so the image resolution and 3D is many times better. It's like watching a Passive 3D TV without having to wear the glasses.

Seems Fuji can print the images off in 3D too (no glasses needed), but we haven’t tried that yet as we don't have the camera long enough yet.

I think that in the future when there are more ways to view 3D effortlessly, cameras like this will be everywhere.

The fact it takes photo's in 3D and 2D at the same time makes it a complete no brainier for us.
