V3 Trinity - MIDI

Post by Merlekeys »

How do I switch the MIDI function on and off when the Trinity is connected to another synth without having to unplug the MIDI cable. Is there a way to do it in the global menu somewhere!? Thanks.

That doesn't work as I still hear the sound on the master keyboard. I want to be able to switch the whole MIDI function off so I can play both synths independently then be able to switch it on so I can immediately be playing both from the master.

Create a combi that has the program that you wish to play, with MIDI settings that prevent it from being played from the other keyboard.

Not sure the above is possible in the exact scenario you're trying to work, but I think it is as close as it gets - MIDI programming is pretty flexible in Combi mode. Otherwise you can put a switch on the MIDI cable - surely not something often seen... :)
