Spending a lot in one synth
Spending a lot of time in poly six. Getting better at tweaking to ea I like but it is t quite what I want yet. I started here on the recommendation of this board. I am learning a lot but not enough!
Question, can I get a good fast wobble like in dubstep out of poly six?

You can. Doesn't mean it will be exactly the wobble you had in mind though. Each synth has its own character.
The good thing is, if you've got Polysix really figured out and you know how the filters and envelopes work and what it means to use a different oscillator setting, those principles carry over to MS20, AL1, HD1 and to some extent MOD7 and STR1.

Well I would love to give it a shot or two but with no insurance the poor girl would probably be down and out! Lol
I certainly don't have it figured out yet but I am much closer then I was even a day ago. I am. Urgently e pediment ing by changing one value at a time Nd listening for the changes. I just haven't been able to get the wobble I want. I think maybe it is part of the envelope generator and of I can forgive that out the. I will try and tie that into the ribbon or vj to get it to work my desired way at will. I am not sure that is possible yet. I am surprised by how fast time can slip away while tweaking on this board!

Usually the "wobble" you describe is an LFO (modulation generator- MG) on the filter (VCF). I doubt you'll get the exact character you're looking for in the Polysix all by itself (i.e., without AMS or common LFO) but it's a great place to start learning the fundamentals.
I'd suggest setting the MG mode to VCF and enabling tempo mode. In this way, play with the level to get the depth of wobble you're looking for and then play with the frequency and/or base note settings during performance!
When you get really good at this, you'll probably want to add AMS or a common LFO to get a saw or ramp LFO waveform which will give the performance a steeper, more dub-step sound.
Good luck! Cheers!

There are multiple ways to achieve wobble bass sounds. The most common is the lfo connected to the cutoff filter where the speed of the lfo is controlled by the mod wheel (JS-Y), like cynkh said.
Another approach is to do it with the ams mixer attached to the amplitude (volume), then you could use step sequencer as input to create any pattern you want in the ams mixer and combine that with a speed control. That way you have your cutoff still available for other purposes (although you could attach it to the same ams source.)
There are numerous tutorials on youtube about synth programming techniques for wobble basses. Especially the massive tutorials seems to appeal to a lot of people since this vst is used a lot in dubstep.
The volume approach was quite well explained by Spectrasonics. in that omnisphere tutorial video they build a wobble bass from scratch and show the separate building steps for the sound. You could use the Mod7 with the sine + waveshaper oscillator option and the AMS mixer for the volume speed control to build a sound like the one you hear in this Omnisphere tutorial.

In this case I would still recommend tying the MG/LFO to the VCF and/or VCA and use the ribbon controller (CC#16) to vary the intensity (intensity mod in the controller pop-up window of the PolysixEX Main window when you've highlighted the MG Level control). That should do the trick for you.
Good luck!
